Set in our beautiful 30-acre learning environment in the heart of the Surrey Hills, Barrow Hills is exceptionally well located. Witley is less that an hour away from London Waterloo, our school is easily accessible by mainline rail and major road networks and provides the perfect setting for local pupils with parents working in London.

Barrow Hills operates a number of minibus routes and we are currently exploring additional routes owing to increased demand.

A few useful facts…

  • The bus services use the Schools’ 17-seater minibuses.
  • All drivers are experienced and qualified bus drivers.
  • All minibus routes run Monday to Friday.
  • The service needs to be pre-booked by parents on a termly basis but there is often availability for ad-hock bookings as needed.
  • You will be provided with contact details of a School representative in case of any schedule changes, due, for example, to illness, weather or heavy traffic.
  • All parents pre-book via email to Mrs Kim Hall on klh@barrowhills.org or call +44 (0)1428 681024. Alternatively complete the relevant application form below which is also provided within the new pupil welcome packs.

Our Haslemere and Godalming minibus service transports pupils from Years 2 to 8, to school in the morning and returns at the end of the school day. Both minibus services run using our 17 seater minibuses driven by experienced and qualified minibus drivers.

Simple costing for straight forward budgeting

  • £3 per journey from/to Bramley
  • £1.50 per journey from/to Charterhouse
  • £1.50 per journey from/to Chiddingfold
  • £3 per journey from/to Haslemere
  • £1.50 per journey from/to Godalming Homebase
  • £1.50 per journey from/to Enton
  • Free per journey between Barrow Hills School and King Edward’s Witley, subject to availability.
  • Please note that these prices include VAT at a rate of 0%.

Our Haslemere bus route

This service runs from the car park behind Waitrose in Haslemere, via Chiddingfold, King Edward’s Witley, and has a final stop at Barrow Hills School.

Morning departure:

The bus leaves at 7.35am Monday to Friday and arrives at Barrow Hills School in time for registration.

The return journey:

The bus leaves Barrow Hills School at 4.45pm and King Edward’s at approximately 4.50pm. It stops in Chiddingfold at 5.00pm and arrives in Haslemere at approximately 5.15pm.

Our Godalming bus route

This service runs from Bramley Business Park, via Charterhouse (Queens Drive off Hurtmore Road), Homebase, the Inn on the Lake, Enton (Water Lane off Station Lane), King Edward’s Witley, and has a final stop at Barrow Hills School.

Morning departure:

Morning departure is at 7.25am from Bramley, picking up at Charterhouse at 7.40am, Homebase at 7.50am, the Inn on the Lake at 7.55am, and Enton at 8am and arrives at Barrow Hills School in time for registration.

The return journey:

The bus leaves Barrow Hills School at 4.45pm. It stops in Enton at 4.55pm, at the Inn on the Lake at 5.05pm, Charterhouse at 5.15pm, Homebase at 5.25pm, and Bramley Business Park at 5.45pm.
