Year 1 had a fantastic science lesson this week, taking full advantage of the lovely weather and beautiful grounds at school.
The children completed a leaf identification sheet which then enabled them to recognise all the different trees in our garden. The children looked at some of the seeds found on these trees too. They could choose to work with a partner or on their own. It was wonderful to see such lovely concentration and hear some detailed conversations as they worked.
