Ten of our girls made it to the quarter final at the Charterhouse hockey tournament.
We had an incredibly tough draw with the following schools in the knockout stages:
Danes Hill: drew 1-1
Farleigh: lost 0-2
Amesbury: drew 1-1
Edgeborough: drew 0-0
Eagle House: drew 0-0
Four draws and one loss was enough for us to progress through to the cup competition knockout stages. Sadly we were knocked out straight away in the quarter final against a very skillful team from Hall Grove who beat us 5-0.
Well played to all the Year 5 girls and a special mention to Marley who put on the goalkeeping kit for the first time and saved well over 20 shots on goal throughout the afternoon and also to Emily who made a very impressive individual run all the way to goal and scored.
