With Father’s Day fast approaching, the children in Reception have been busy thinking about all the wonderful things that dads are good at and why we love them so much. From playing fun games to fixing things around the house, the children have shared some of the lovely stories about what makes their dad so special. Some are good at cooking delicious meals, some tell the best bedtime stories and some give squishy hugs.
The children also talked about other important males in their lives such as grandads, uncles and step dads and it is clear how much these male relations are also cherished by the children.
Next week the children will be busy creating portraits of their dads so if you haven’t done so already, please could you send in a photograph of ‘Dad’.
