Continuing our bug theme this week, Nursery had a visit from Ben and Rick and their interesting friends from Backyard Bugs. The children were very brave and even stroked some of them. They learnt what the various bugs like to eat, where they are from and how they protect themselves. The children met a scorpion, a snake, two spiders, a mantis and lots more!
We also have been making dragonflies, ladybirds and spiders to decorate our room.
Last week, Mrs Dudley took us to the willow dome to read us the ‘Gruffalo’ in the lovely sunshine. We hope to visit regularly, so with this in mind, please remember sun hats, sun cream and water bottles (all named) in school every day please.
