Kindy have been raising their very own butterflies. They have had the opportunity to watch caterpillars grow and change into chrysalides, which will eventually emerge as beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies.
We continued our bug theme by making caterpillar fruit skewers in Kindy. The children chopped their fruit and carefully threaded it onto their skewers. They enjoyed comparing the lengths of their ‘caterpillars’ with their friends before enjoying these delicious and healthy treats as an addition to our morning snack!
