During October, we have been celebrating Black History Month, a time for reflection and positive changes for the future. Yesterday, Ms Samuel led an assembly with Years 3 to 8. The assembly began with some incredible African drumming from Year 8. She then spoke to the pupils about some significant Black figures, including Bob Marley and Bukayo Saka, and shared insights into her own life and achievements. It was a wonderful assembly, and I would like to warmly thank Ms Samuel for kindly stepping in to lead it.
I have sent home and uploaded on Google classroom some lovely recipes to try, examples of books to read, as well as a playlist of music and podcasts. I hope you enjoy them. Have a great half term.
