What is your current position at Barrow Hills School?
I am the School Secretary, Head’s PA and Mental Health and Wellbeing Coordinator at Barrow Hills School.
How long have you worked at Barrow Hills School?
In January 2024 I will have been at Barrow Hills for nine years.
What are your plans for the upcoming year as Mental Health and Wellbeing Coordinator?
Initially I will be undertaking an audit of all that Barrow Hills has in place re Mental Heath and Wellbeing. I will then make proposals with regard as to where we need to hone our focus and build on what we already do. I will continue to work with our lovely school counsellor, Maria Raven. I am presenting an assembly on Resilience during Mental Health Week in October and I will be undertaking various training through the Wellbeing Hub which the Bridewell Schools are members of.

Welcoming, kind and giving.
What are your hobbies?
I have an acre of garden which I have been restoring for the last five year, I am an avid reader and enjoy walks with friends and my dog, Mr Pip
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to work for Sotheby’s, the auctioneers. I realised my dream in 2000 and had a 14 year career there where I met fascinating people, handled unbelievable works of art and had a great deal of fun!
